Relax in the unique idyll of Campsite Katzenkopf, named after one of Franconia's most famous vineyards. The area is located in the middle of a nature reserve, at the southern end of the famous Mainschleife and within walking distance of the historic Franconian winegrowing town of Sommerach.
Campsite
Our family-run campsite offers around 200 great areas for tents, caravans and camper vans. Whether you prefer a shady spot under the trees or would rather enjoy the warm sun with a view of the lake, everyone is guaranteed to find their favorite spot here.
In addition to peace, relaxation and nature, our campsite also offers a wide range of opportunities for exciting excursions, sporting activities and cultural explorations.

Location
The historic wine village of Sommerach is not far away from us. Here you can discover numerous local winegrowers, taste their exquisite franconian wines and enjoy regional specialties in rustic restaurants and taverns. Of course there are many other beautiful villages along the Mainschleife, which are often called “Franconian Tuscany” because of their picturesque vineyards and rolling hills.
